People, Culture and Secretariat
Steve Mason brings more than 30 years of experience in business ownership, management and leadership across a diverse range of industries and operating environments. Throughout his career, Steve has led and worked alongside teams of varying sizes and backgrounds, developing extensive practical experience in people management, workplace culture, communication and the day-to-day challenges of building effective and cohesive teams.
As a member of the EL Care Advisory Council, Steve’s focus is on People, Culture and Secretariat, helping to ensure the Council operates effectively while maintaining a strong focus on the people who ultimately deliver EL Care’s services. He believes that the quality of care experienced by clients is closely connected to the culture of the organisation and the people within it, and that supporting, engaging and developing the EL Care team is fundamental to consistently meeting the needs of clients and their families.
Steve is passionate about creating environments where people feel valued, supported and accountable, and where everyone understands the importance of the role they play. Through his work with the Advisory Council, he is committed to helping EL Care build a strong and positive culture centred on one overriding objective — ensuring that older Australians and their families receive the very best care, service and support the EL Care team can provide.
